Nancy Lewandowski, age 78, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 at her home. Nancy met the love of her live, Jack, very early in life. Nancy and Jack shared 59 cherished, memory-filled years together. During that time, they started a living and devoted family (or “dynasty” as she called it). More than just a loving wife, mom, sister, and buscia, Nancy devoted her every breath to those around her. She was full of life and enjoyed all it had to offer. She loved spending time at Devil’s and Round Lakes where she enjoyed fishing, boating and swimming with her family and friends. She was a devoted Buscia, never missing a sporting event or extracurricular activity of her grandchildren or great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling the world with her family and was looking forward to visiting friends in Germany next month.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Gharrette (George) Norcross and Virginia Snyder; her uncle, William Synder; sister, Ruth Putinti; and brothers-in-law, James Putinti and Glen Buck. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jack; children John and Eileen Lewandowski, Doug and Mary Kay Nelson, and David Lewandowski and Alan Jones; grandchildren Rick and Sarah Byington, Anna, John, and Sam Nelson; great-grandchildren Riley, Allie and Jack; sister Dorothy Buck; brother-in-law, Spike Peters and sister-in-law, Nancy Peters; and extended family and friends.
