Myron "Mike" Busson, 74, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 25, 1941 in Ross Township, Ohio to Roland and Esther (Gladieux) Busson. Mike was a 1961 graduate of Olney High School and worked as a machine setup operator for the Dana Corporation. He was a life-long parishioner of St. Ignatius Catholic Church where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and C.K. of O.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved spending time with his family, going on camping trips, fishing, boating and watching his grandson’s events. Myron was known as a kind, generous and hardworking man, who enjoyed gardening, cooking and yard work. He will be dearly missed.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sharon; daughters, Laura (Kevin) O’Korn and Nancy (Raymond) Stelmaszak; grandson, Dominic N. O’Korn. He is also survived by his siblings, Eugene (Marilyn) Busson, Louise (Walter) Ehrsam, Karl (Dianne) Busson and Donna (Victor) LaJiness. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jane (Norman) Jaegly; his brother, Paul (Ramona) Busson and his cousin and best friend, Raymond Bosch.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd. in Oregon where family will greet friends after 9:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions in Mike’s name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Helping Hands of St. Louis.
