Millard F. Lewis

Millard F. Lewis, 81 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.  He was born in Vanceburg, KY on February 12, 1934 to Robert and Gladys (Bliss) Lewis. Millard worked for Johnson Lumber and then with Ohio Truss Mart until the business closed. In 1994, he retired from Omni Source where he had worked as a shear operator for 14 years and was a member of International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 20. In his spare time, Millard loved to fix bicycles and cars, enjoyed fishing, going to car shows and flea markets. He was affectionately known as “Hillbilly”.

He is survived by his son, Chuck (Ruth) Lewis; daughter, Marsha Holbrook (Rick); special friend, B. Juanita Davis and all her family; grandchildren, Rachelle (Hal), Dan (Judi), Christina (Aaron), Tiffany, TJ and Travis; many great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence (Sally) Lewis and sister, Mary Warren. Millard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Lewis;  sister, Marie; great-grandson,  Dylan and great-granddaughter, Elaina.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, September 24, 2015 after 3 p.m. with the funeral service to begin 7:00 p.m. Burial will remain private.
