Mildred L. Hedrick, 88, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Goerlich Center in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on June 22, 1927 in Dry Fork, West Virginia to Henry and Bessie (Flanigan) Huffman. Mildred was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Mildred’s family meant the world to her, especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She attended Grace Bible Chapel in Walbridge and enjoyed volunteering in the nursery for various churches in the area. Mildred enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the birds and cooking for her family. She will be dearly missed.
Mildred is survived by her children, Don (Kathy) Hedrick, Bob Hedrick, Jack Hedrick and Kathy Graff; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Delmer Huffman and best friend, Eddie. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Hedrick; sons, Larry Hedrick and George Hedrick and son-in-law, Denny Graff.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Goerlich Center.
