Mildred C. Bohland, 95, of Toledo passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg Center. She was born on November 10, 1917 in Toledo to Clarence and Gertrude Farmer. Mildred was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a fan of Notre Dame and Ohio State Football teams. She will be dearly missed.
Mildred is survived by her children; Cookie (Deloy) Schramm, James (fiancé, Donna Gerkensmeyer) Bohland, Jane (Dick) Simon, John (Sharon) Bohland, Michael (Joanne) Bohland, Joseph (fiancé, Pat Trzaskowski) Bohland, Marty (Debbie) Bohland, Denny (Jane) Bohland and Larry (Darla) Bohland; 32 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence; son, Edward; daughters-in-law, Dorothy, Donna and Priscilla and her siblings, Virginia Hemrick, Loretta Seeley and Edward Farmer.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 3-9 p.m. where a scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 a.m. and continue on with the Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or the charity of the Donor’s choice.
