Michael J. Schmidlin, 58, departed this world on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. He is now home with his mom, dad and other family and friends. Mike was the night attendant at the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. He touched so many lives and hearts with his sweet smile and gentle soul. Mike is survived by six siblings; daughter, Heather (Josh) Koberstein; grandson, Josh and granddaughter, Christina.
Friends and family may visit from 2-7 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013, in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Remembrances may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Mercy Cancer Center at St. Charles Hospital.
