Mike Rohm, 69, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Toledo on May 10, 1945 to Lawrence E. and Shirley A. (Reidenbach) Rohm and was a 1963 graduate of Clay High School. Mike honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked as a stationary engineer for Coulton Chemical and then for St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. In his spare time, Mike enjoyed fishing and travelling and watching the Detroit Tigers but most of all his passion was Drag racing.
He is survived by his loving children, Dan (Patricia), Brian (Sarah), Jason (Casey), Anne (Aaron) Farrell, Kevin (Lauren) and Stephany Chovan; grandchildren, Jaylin, Danielle, Kaylee, Aubrey, Chloe, Mallory, Alexis, Mackenzie and Riley; two great-grandchildren, Adrianne and Alyiah; siblings, Barbara Chancey, Nancy Berlincourt, Joyce (Richard) Ollivier and Jim (Sharon) Rohm and many dear nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and grandchild, Angel Rohm.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon after 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015, where a Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Burial will remain private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
