Michael Garcia, age 63, of Toledo, Ohio received his wings on Monday, October 8, 2012. Born in Toledo, he was the son of John and Katherine Garcia, who both preceded him in death. He was a Waite High School Alumni, by trade, he had retired from GM Powertrain, and a past member of the U.A. W. Local 14.
Surviving are his sons, Micah, Adam, and Daryl Garcia; mother, Becky, Seven grandchildren; brothers, John (Linda), Joe, Al (Mary), Tony (Mary Kay), Dennis (Charlene) and David (Helen) Garcia; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael had a huge, giving heart and loved his family, always bringing laughter to any occasion, and was a music enthusiast. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Chapter of your choice.
