Michael Alan Cox

Michael A. Cox, age 64, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Swanton Valley Rehab and Care Center. He was born on April 21 ,1959 in Oregon, Ohio to Gerald and Betty Cox. Michael was a graduate of Eastwood High School. He worked as a carpenter most recently with Integrity Wall and Ceiling. Michael was the life of the party. He enjoyed dancing and camping.

Michael is survived by his sons, Matt (Cheree) Cox, and Joseph (Miranda) Cox; grandchildren, Hannah, Matthew, Kirsten, Gage, Payton, Tierra, Emma Sue, Brandon, and Kara; siblings, Roger (Suzette) Cox, Jerry (Jodi) Cox, Ronnie Cox, Linda Hall, Pat (Dave) Bailey, Barbara Walsh, Debra (Jeff) Hendricks, and Diane Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Julie Cox.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 4-6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with expenses.
