Michael E. Burnat

Michael E. Burnat, 43, of Toledo, OH, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was born in Lawton, OK on August 20, 1978 to Edward Burnat and Judy Shatto Jones. Michael loved firefighting and was a firefighter for Lake Township, OH Fire Department and Frog Level, VA. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially during cookouts. Michael was also worked as a tow truck and repossession driver.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife, April; his children, Kendra, Michael, Makala, Kyleigh, and Jordan; his parents, Edward and Judy; his siblings, Jessica, Amber, and Kathy; his niece, Kaitlyn; his great-nieces and great-nephews; and many loving extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his cousin, Chrissy; his aunt, Vicky; and his niece, Majestic.

A memorial service will be held at Maumee Bay State Park on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed toward his family. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
