Maybelle Mclane

Maybelle E. McLane, age 89, of Oregon and formerly of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Monday November 20, 2023 at Landings of Oregon. Maybelle was born to Louis and Mabel (Griffin) Harrison on June 5, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a graduate of Waite High School and went on to the marry the love of her life Willis McLane. They shared 68 years of marriage before his passing on March 30, 2022. Maybelle loved her crafts. She was an expert in sewing, jewelry making, card making, and quilting. Maybelle was a member of Spirit and Truth Church in Oregon. She enjoyed travelling and tacos.

Maybelle is survived by her children Doug, Terry, and Bonnie; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special niece Christine Basden. Along with her husband Willis she was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at Toledo Memorial Park on December 2, 2023 at 11 a.m. Please gather near the main gates of the cemetery for procession. Memorial contributions in Maybelle’s name are appreciated to Spirit and Truth Church.
