MARYL FAY (RICE) PASCH
Maryl Fay Pasch, 78, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. She was born on August 17, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to Emory and Violet (Lacy) Rice. She married Richard Pasch on her 21st birthday in 1957 and was a LPN with the Lutheran Home. A member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Maryl enjoyed taking walks and loved Lake Erie; but most of all, she cherished each moment spent with her family.
Maryl is survived by her daughters, Kymberley (Michael) Snyder and Kelly (Daniel) LaPlante and grandchildren, Matthew Snyder, Cassandra and Rachel LaPlante along with many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years, Richard; twin sister, Caryl Kay Geldien; sister, Shirley Dornbusch and brother, Wade Rice.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Sunday, April 12, 2015, from 1-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday after 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where the Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Locust Point Cemetery in Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the entire staff at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital especially the Hospice and Med Surge Units. The compassionate care and kindness was shown not only to Maryl but to every family member. You all have made our final moments with our loved one so very special.
