Mary S. “Mitzie” King, 80, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo on September 30, 1934 to Daniel and Mary (Orosz) Kardos and was a graduate of Waite High School. She retired from the Clerk of Courts Juvenile Division after 35 years of service. Mitzie was a lifetime member of Calvin United Church of Christ, P.E.R.I., the Eastern Stars and a long time member of the Hungarian Club. She was a devoted wife and mother loving to spend time with her family; fishing, traveling and vacationing in Alaska, cooking and celebrating holidays and get togethers at her home.

Mitzie is survived by her daughter, Rosalie “Rosie” Drew; grandsons, Shane R. Drew and Stephen M. (Jodi) Drew and great-grandchildren, Haley and Riley Drew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell A. King; parents; son-in-law, Stephen R. Drew; sister, Elizabeth Boray.

Friends and family may visit at Calvin United Church of Christ, 1946 Bakewell St., Toledo, Ohio from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2014.  Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvin United Church of Christ. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Orchard Villa for their wonderful care.
