Martin B. Chrisman, 85, of Martin, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born on September 29, 1927. Martin served in the U.S. Air Force, during WWII. He was a Union Steward for the Jeep Corporation and worked as a Loan Officer at the Credit Union for many years. Martin loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was known for joking around and always having a piece of candy. He will be dearly missed by his family and his honey bunch girls.
Martin is survived by his loving family; son, Harley Chrisman; daughters, Linda Sue (Bob) Romstadt, Diana (Chuck) Romstadt and Kay Cooper; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and brothers-in-law, Ernst (Ruth) Tepper and William Tepper. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hedy; brothers, Alfred and Frank and sister, Nancy.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions in Martin’s name may be made to the Lutheran Home at Toledo or the Donor’s choice.
