Martha Elizabeth (Cornish) Tipton

Martha Elizabeth Tipton, age 79, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Toledo Hospital.  She was born on August 4, 1943 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky to Raymond and Thelma (Blakeman) Cornish.  Martha worked for over 20 years at LOF as a manufacturer operator.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making baby blankets for everyone.  She also enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, cooking Sunday dinners or fishing with her husband, Vernon.  She will be dearly missed by her family.

Martha is survived by her children, Darlene (Salem) Aujla, David Tipton, Vickie (Dan) DerGarabedian, and Janet Tipton; grandchildren, Felipe Duran, Rosanna Marquez, Amy (Cassandra) Parish, April (Martin) Brown, Danielle (Kerey) Howard, Joey Tipton, Mike Darling, and Bradley Tipton; six great-grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Ellen (James) Risner and Leon (Sheila) Cornish.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; brother, John Cornish; infant sister, Sarah Cornish; and grandchildren, David J. Tipton, Robert Hansen III, Marcos Duran, and Marcos Santiago Marquez.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will take place in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
