Mark R. Flick “Markie”, 26, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at his home. He was born in Toledo on April 20, 1989 to Ronald R. and Sandra K. (Riffe) Flick and was a 2007 graduate of Northwood High School.
Mark had an extreme fondness for Ohio State football and Detroit sports as well as an aptitude for sports knowledge and trivia, in general. Mark's love was limitless as his deepest devotions and passions were for his family and closest friends. Mark's happiest times were the times he spent with his entire family during holidays, get-togethers and trips to Myrtle Beach. Along with the intense love Mark had for his niece Avery, he was absolutely crazy about his cat Joey and the bond they shared.
Mark is survived by his loving parents, Ron and Sandy Flick; sister, Jamie (Mike) Adams; niece, Avery Adams; grandparents, Joanne and Gene Flick and Mary Louise Riffe; aunts and uncles, Jill Wietrzykowski, Connie and Keith Butler, Mary and Doug Stage, Debbie and Scott Powers and Linda and Rick Cardenas along with many dear cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Riffe Sr. and uncles, Robert Riffe Jr., Mike Riffe and Jim Wietrzykowski.
Services will remain private. Those planning an expression of sympathy to Mark's family are asked to consider donations to Life Connection of Ohio, the Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio or Alliance for Paired Kidney Donation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
