MARJORIE PEARL (DORN) COOK
Marjorie P. Cook, 80, formerly of Toledo passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Arbors at Oregon. She was born in Toledo on July 30, 1932, to Raymond and Elsie (Frey) Dorn, Sr. and was a loving wife to Richard G. Cook, Sr. who preceded her in death. She taught Sunday school at both St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church and Ottawa River United Methodist Church and in her spare time, loved spending time with family and caring for her many pets.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Deb (Jeff) Ladd; sons, Ron (Jan) and Rick, Jr. (Susan); grandchildren, Richard III, Robin, Shawn, Tyler, Alissa, Adam, Cameron and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Marcus and Maraina; and sisters, Barbara Cline and Nellie Dorn. Also preceding her in death are her parents; sisters, Ruth, Ida and Dorothy and brother, Raymond.
Friends and family may visit from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon where a Memorial Service will begin at 6 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Arbors at Oregon Activities Fund or Toledo Humane Society-Maumee, Ohio .
