Marilyn J Schuster

Marilyn J. Schuster, age 80, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center.  She was born on October 31, 1934 in Toledo to Fred and Erna (Calcamuggio) Young. Marilyn was a graduate of Whitney High School.  Marilyn married Robert C. Schuster in 1953 and together they raised four children.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother and great-grandma who always thought of her family first.  Marilyn was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was a babysitter for many of the neighborhood children.  She will be dearly missed.

Marilyn is survived by her children:  Robert (Maria) Schuster, Kathy (Bernie) Zielinski, Randy Schuster and Cindy Cremeans; grandchildren:  Jennifer (Clancy) Adams, Alicia (Jeff) Couch, Joe (Ericka) Zielinski, Amy (Tyler Johnson) Zielinski, Paul Cremeans and Sarah Cremeans; great-grandchildren:  Ava, Claire, Olivia and Jordyn and her siblings:  Fred (Martha) Young and Juanita (Perry) Barnes and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; siblings, Rosann (Ken) Timmons and Richard (Hilda) Young, half-brother, Paul Young and half-sisters, Maudina Maybach and Viola Williams.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, from 10-11 a.m.   A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.  Inurnment will take place at Toledo Memorial Park at 12:30 (section 25).  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
