Marie Louise (Faust) Brewer

Marie Louise Brewer, age 80, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. She was born in Toledo, OH to Walter and Julia (Christian) Faust on March 26, 1943. Marie graduated from Woodward High School and went on to work for many years as a cash office clerk. Marie married the love of her life, John Brewer, and together they raised their family. She was a member of the former St. Mark Lutheran Church on Grasser Street and served as a treasurer for many years. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will be dearly missed.

Marie is survived by her husband of 64 years, John; her children, Daniel, and Wendy (Dusty); her grandchildren, Jason, Noel, Rachel (Caleb), Aaron (Leah), Brandon (Amanda), and Mitchell; her great-grandchildren, Cecilia, Dominic, and Gaius; and her siblings, Marilyn (Donald), and Mark (Tina). She was preceded in death by her son, Brian; her siblings, Walter, Rosemary, and Linda; and her parents, Walter and Julia.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the chapel on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
