Margaret Furry age 72, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Peggy was born to Richard and Margaret Fogle, January 20, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Waite High School in 1963. Peggy’s first job was as an elevator operator for Lamsons, she worked many jobs in her life including at the Frisches in Point Place and for US Fundraising. She retired from the US Coast Guard Exchange. Peggy loved listening to Elvis and reading to her grandchildren. Peggy and her husband enjoyed going to the Marine Ball for many years.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David; children, Cathrine (David) Krego and David Furry II; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Megan and Devon Krego and Averieana Furry; siblings, Marilyn Sparks, Gerald Fogle and Deborah Auxier and many loving cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jeanie Dickerson, Kathleen Behrendsen, Joanne Fogle, Jackie Fogle and Richard Fogle Jr..
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Friday at 12:45 p.m. with prayers followed by the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 1:30 pm.at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
