Marcia Lynn Cash

Marcia Lynn Cash age 75 of Toledo, Ohio passed away at Mercy St. Charles Hospital on Monday, October 2, 2023. Marcia was born to George and Gola Cash on February 15, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Whitney High School and continued on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from the then Toledo University. Marcia studied at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton earning her Master of Divinity. She served as a minister at Hayes United Methodist and Bethany United Methodist. After retirement, she served as a secretary at St. Paul’s United Methodist Downtown.

Marcia will be greatly missed by her nieces Michelle (David) Proffitt and Monica (Paul) Reese; nephews Chris (Marti) Fischer and Scott Fischer; many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; close cousin Karyn Courtney; and special friend Marilyn Facer. She loved her four-legged friends; cats, Sebastian and Mystique, and her special dog, Cooper. Her parents and sisters Peggy Fischer and Donna Workman preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Paws and Whiskers or any Animal Welfare Organization.
