Lucille Manthey

Lucille Manthey, age 87, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.  She was born on February 13, 1937 in Monroe, Michigan to Leo and Genevieve (Wallace) Smith.  Lucille was raised in Bolles Harbor, Michigan.  She was a very generous person and had a huge heart for others.  Lucille loved her family, especially her grandchildren, they were the highlight of her life.  She enjoyed going to Bono Baptist Church.  Lucille was a wonderful and priceless person.

She is survived by her children, Bridget (Robert) Boellner, Genevieve Kerstetter, and Michael (Nicole) Elekonich; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild, and her brother, Donald Smith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Norris.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10-11:30 a.m. where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
