Lucille “Lucy” Esther Larcom, 75, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Arbors at Oregon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on December 3, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to James and Esther (Kovacs) Marsalko. Throughout her life she worked different job most recently at McDonalds. Lucy was a professional clown who had gone by the name Lula the Clown. During Christmas time she often took the role of Mrs. Claus throughout Northwest Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoyed word search puzzles. She brought joy to so many and will be dearly missed.
Lucy is survived by her children, Mary Marsalko, Tim (Cindy) Whithman, Jim (Lisa) Larcom and Cyndi (John Sr.) Muranyi; grandchildren, John Jr., Shiloh, Mike, Kara, A.J. and Jessica; 13 great-grandchildren; soul mate, Horacio and K-9 companion, Honey. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Stein Hospice.
