Louis F. Perlaky

Louis F. Perlaky, 85, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg Center.  He was born on May 6, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to Lazlo and Gizella Perlaky.  Louis was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and served in the U.S. Army.  He was a barber for 50 years and owned the Lou Perlaky Village Barber Shop.  Lou was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish and was involved in the Holy Name Society at St. Stephen Church.  In his spare time, Lou enjoyed playing golf, volunteering at Little Sisters of the Poor and he was a member of the V.F.W. Post #4906.

Louis is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Perlaky; children:  Louis Perlaky, Mary Lou (Mark) Nadaud, Cheryl (Fred) Hentges, Carol (Marc) Schwartz, Paul (Karen) Perlaky, Lisa Perlaky, Marty (Suzi) Perlaky; step-children, Ronald (Julie) Toth and Pamela (Craig) Smith; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and his brother, Emery (Eleanor) Perlaky.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary; his parents and brothers, Stephen and Joe.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. where the rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Epiphany of the Lord Parish at St. Stephen Church on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Inurnment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Cardinal Stritch High School.
