Louis F. Parker, 72, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011. He was born on February 11, 1939 in Toledo to Harold Parker and Ida Deal. Louis served in the U.S. Army, during the Korean War. He worked as an engineer for Toledo Scales and later at Mastron Company. Louis enjoyed working with electronics, making radios and TV’s and fixing his car.

He is survived by his former wife and best friend of 35 years, Emogene “Jean” Parker; children: Louis Parker II, Sharon (Robert) Gussler and Robin (Billy) Bockelman; grandchildren: Shawn Henry, Amanda, Jamie and Michael Gussler and Casey and Cody Bockelman; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Ray) Cousino; brother, Dennis (Cathy) Nelson; step-father, Robert Nelson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of N.W. Ohio.
