Loretta S. Henneman, 77, of Genoa, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born in Gniezno Poland on March 7, 1936 to Steven and Mary (Sobjczak) Makowski. She had worked as a cook for many years and was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Northwood. Loretta enjoyed crocheting, cooking and her flower gardens.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Charlotte), Michael (Ann Marie), Roger (Deb), Tom (Carrie) and Sam (Sherrie) Henneman; daughters, Tina Smith and Carol (Walter) Lemke; sixteen grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Michalina Tefft and brother, Frank (Burnice) Makowski. Loretta was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine; parents; brother, Glenn Makowski; sister, Cindy Brazeau and brother-in-law, Raymond Tefft.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon on Monday, December 2, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. Celebration of Loretta’s life will be held at 8 p.m. that day. Burial will be private. The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Northwood will be having a service on December 14 at 3 p.m.. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donor of their choice.
