Lois Ann (Lay) Arnold

Lois A. Arnold, 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Heartland of Oregon, She was born March 5, 1926 in Toledo to Kenneth and Florence (Miller) Lay and graduated from Whitney Vocational School. During WWII, Lois worked at Jeep helping support the war effort. She was a loving wife to Eugene Arnold and enjoyed caring for her children, cooking and bowling.

She is survived by her son, Gene Arnold; grandchildren, Erin Arnold, Kim (P.J. Kapfhammer) Turkington, Joshua Chapa and 7 great-grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; children, Jeff Arnold and Jackie Arnold; 1 grandson and daughter-in-law, Sandy Arnold.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 10-12 p.m. where services will be held at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Coy Elementary Library Fund.
