LINDA K. (CANTERBURY) MCVICKER
Linda K. McVicker, 55, of Toledo passed away at her home Friday, July 26, 2013. She was born August 18, 1957 in Sterling Heights, MI to Willie and Norma (Hurley) Canterbury and was a loving wife to the late Dennis J. McVicker, Sr. Linda had a zest for life and loved spending time with her family. She was a gifted artist enjoying all forms of photography and writing.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Candida (Victor) Hoffman; sons, Dennis, Jr. and Kelly (Yura) McVicker; grandchildren, Taylor and Preston Hoffman, Isabella, Camilla and Gabriella McVicker; sisters, Rebecca (Jerry), Gloria, Wanda (Mike), Vivian (Tom), Cynthia and Darlene (Pat); and brothers, David and Stephen (Connie) along with many dear nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at Noon on Friday, August 2, 2013 in the Conference Center at Toledo Botanical Gardens, 5403 Elmer Drive in Toledo with visiting to continue until 4 p.m. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Neighborhood Properties Inc. Arrangements were entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon.
