Linda Faye Doyle

Linda Faye Doyle, age 76, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Parkcliffe of Northwood Community with family by her side. She was born on November 16, 1947 in Bangor Rural, Alabama to Alfred and Winell (Gober) Wynn. Linda was a 1966 graduate of J.B. Pennington High School in Blountsville, Alabama. She married her husband, James on November 6, 1965 before moving to the Toledo area. Linda started out as a cook for Oregon City Schools eventually switching to custodian. She retired on January 1, 2008 with over 25 years of service. They were members of First Baptist Church of Oregon until its closing. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. She enjoyed ceramics, music, and taking care of animals. Linda will be dearly missed by her family.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Donna (Jon) Amundsen; grandchildren, Alexis, and Andrew Amundsen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Doyle; and sister, Janette Wynn Luker.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
