Linda Sue Brinkman age 71 of Oregon passed away at home on January 1, 2025. Linda was born to Herbert and Dorothy (Russling) Dearsman on January 5, 1953 in Oregon, Ohio. She was a 1971 graduate of Clay High School and later that year Linda married the love of her life, Nathan Brinkman. Linda loved being a little big piece of everyone’s life. She adored Jesus and shared His love. Linda was entrepreneurial, creative, and her doors were always open to people; she loved feeding everyone. She worked in sales, owned a construction contracting company, and together with her husband ran the Bed and Breakfast “B&B Railroad Depot”.
Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years Nathan Brinkman Sr., sons Nathan (Sylvia) Brinkman II, Neal (Robin) Brinkman, and Todd (Mandi) Brinkman; brothers Danny Dearsman, Ralph (Karen) Dearsman, and Gerald (Karen) Dearsman; grandchildren Lucie-Mae, Makena, Haddasah, Wyatt, Olivia, Harvey, Isabella, Alicia, Alivia, Aiden, Cecilia, Xavier; and many nieces and nephews. Her son Chad Brinkman and brothers Herbert, Donald, and Duane Dearsman preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio. A time of sharing will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. We will be having a celebration of life gathering for mom after the funeral at Hope Community Church (5650 Starr Ext., Oregon, OH) from 3-7 PM.
