Lester Leroy Troutman

Lester Leroy Troutman, age 86, of Toledo, OH, passed away in the morning on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He was born in Toledo, OH to Harold and Carol (Marsh) Troutman on June 26, 1936. Lester worked for many years as an automotive mechanic. In 1956, he married the love of his life, Joan, and together they raised their family. Lester enjoyed fishing, bowling and was a member of FOE Rossford but most of all he treasured his family.

Lester leaves behind his loving wife, Joan; his children, Ed (Deb), John, Thomas, and Bertha; his grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Joann. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Millie; his brother, Donald; and his son, Larry (aka Dale).

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel , 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 11:00 am. Lester will be laid to rest at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
