Leonard V. LeGare, Sr., 71, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. He was born on July 10, 1944 in Buffalo, N.Y. to Leonard and Betty LeGare. Leonard worked as a Terminal Manager for Westway Terminal for over 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating, attending car shows and drag racing.
Leonard is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Joe) Wealleans, son, Leonard (Becky) LeGare, Jr.; grandchildren: Joey, Brooke, Jacob, Brittany and Bella; great-granddaughter, Jocelyn and his sisters, Sharon (Eddie) Johnston and Yvonne (Scott) Berndt. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Timmy, Terry and Kenny.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon from 4-7 p.m. where a Memorial Service will take place at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
