Lawrence J. “Larry” Czerniejewski, 72, of Toledo, OH. passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 28, 1942 in Toledo, OH. to Melvin and Leona (Dyre) Dobzynjecki. Larry served his country in the U.S. Marines. He worked as a Millwright for Tecumseh Corrugated Box Company, retiring in 1987 after 15 years of service. Larry enjoyed bowling and attending Northwood V.F.W. post functions. He was a big Browns, Indians and NASCAR fan. He will be deeply missed by all his family, especially his grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, of 40 years, Patricia Czerniejewski; son, Darl (Shelley) Czerniejewski; grandchildren, Danielle, Trinity, Kyle and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Braylee, Brenley, Braxten and Coltin; as well as many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank Czerniejewski.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. A military honors service will begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
