Our beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed into the safe gates of heaven on April 19, 2013 to join his loved ones who went before him.
His survivors include his siblings, William (Sally) Bernoir, Trudy (John) Wroblewski and Linda (John) Carter; special sister and best friend, Sheila Pollick niece and nephews, Bill (Lashell) and Kevin (Lori) Bernoir, Angie (Dan) Keller, Dawn (Troy) Roeske, John (Jaimee) Carter Jr., Kim (Dave) Johns, Tanya Carter, Mike (Viola) Pollick, Tom (Bobbie) Pollick, Denise (Dave) Pollick, Chris (Randy) Hammer; 9 great-nieces and great-nephews and feline friend, Mittens. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; parents, William (Grace) Bernoir; special grandparents, Ellis (Bessie) Helmbrecht; nephews, Marty Pollick and Keith Bernoir.
“Your heart was too worn out to carry you anymore. The doctors and nurses fought a good fight to save yours.” The family would like to thank Dr. Morant, Dr. May and all the nurses who fought for him at Toledo Hospital. “Go rest high on your mountain. Son, your work on earth is done.”
Friends and family may visit from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday 23, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where the Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Elliston Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider his family.
