Lance Owen Martin

Lance Owen Martin age 42 of Oregon passed away suddenly on January 24, 2024. Lance was born to Randall Martin and Debi (DuBois) on August 3, 1981, in Toledo, Ohio. He was a 2000 graduate of Clay High School where he played football and Wrestling.  Lance was employed at Norplas for 20+ years as a forklift operator moving into the welding department a few years ago. In his free time, Lance enjoyed spending time with his children, building model cars, RC cars, and video games, and was also a fan of NASCAR, Hockey, Football, and WWE wrestling.  Lance was an excellent cook and also loved to grill. He could never follow a recipe as he was always adding his special touches.  He also enjoyed walking his beloved German shepherds at the park.

Lance is survived by his children Samantha and Alexander Martin; mother Debi (Ray) Stevens; sister Amanda Martin; step-brother Brian Weseman; mother of his children Hope Martin; childhood and lifelong best friend Josh Wolff; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Randall and brother Chad Martin.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 2 until 6 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to any charity that supports underprivileged children.
