Kristine Marie Goldstein

May 13, 1957 — April 13, 2021

Kristine Marie Goldstein, 63, of Oregon, Ohio passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on April 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved Mother, Grammy, Daughter, Sister, Spouse, Aunt, Great Aunt, and friend. Kris was born on May 13, 1957. She was the 5th of 13 children born to Bernadine and Raymond Gargac of Curtice, Ohio. A 1975 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School, then went on to beauty school and was a stylist for over 40 years. She ended her career at The New Ultimate Impressions where she had lifelong friends and many loyal customers. Kris loved to spend time working out at Super Fitness, cheering on the Cleveland Browns and Indians, and spending countless hours working for the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye organizations. Many of her regulars will surely miss her. She was overjoyed when she became a Grammy for the first-time last April and absolutely adored her twin granddaughters. She spent every moment she could with them and was great at making them laugh.

Kris was preceded in death by her father Raymond Gargac, mother-in-law June Goldstein, brothers-in-law Rick Huff and Rick Royce and nephew Michael Ayash. Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter Ashley Goldstein–Mahoney, precious granddaughters Caitlyn Martin and Ryleigh June, mother Bernadine Gargac, spouse Lou Goldstein, siblings Kathy Royce, Karen (Raul) Sanchez, Mike (Joyce) Gargac, Karol (Rick) Phillips, Konnie Burke, Kim (Pat) Sheehan, Kerry (Mike) Manders, Karlene (Tony) Reaser, Marty (Mona) Gargac, Matt (Jill) Gargac, Mitch (Monica) Gargac, Kelly (Joe) Aldrich, sister-in-law Lois Ayash and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Freck Funeral Chapel in Oregon on Tuesday, April 20 from 2 pm-8pm, with a prayer service at 6:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the family.
