Kris Allyn Prottengeier

Kris Allyn Prottengeier, 56, of Oregon, OH, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was born March 14, 1964 to Charles William and Marilyn Joan (Huston) Prottengeier in Oregon, OH.  Kris was employed for many years as an accountant for Precision Graphics and, most recently, Westrock Services, Inc.  She was also a member of VFW Post 9816.  Kris loved her animals, especially her dogs.  She enjoyed boating, going to the casino and was once a winner of a cash explosion prize.  Her greatest love was her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  Kris will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kris is survived by her children, Christopher (Sara) Wilber and Brianna (Cody) Wilber; her grandchildren, Jaelynn, Claudia, McKenna, and Paislee; her siblings Kathy (Butch), Ken (Darlene), Karen (David), Katy (Dan) and Karol (John); and her significant other, Joe.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:30 am.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the family.
