Kimberly L. "Kimmy" Roughton

Kimberly L. “Kimmy” Roughton, age 54, of Oregon, passed away on June 22, 2021, at Toledo Hospital. She was born on June 7, 1967, to Michael and Sandra (Garcia) Roughton in Petoskey, Michigan. Kimmy graduated from Clay High School in 1985.

Kimmy was a social butterfly. She loved being out-and-about, hanging out with friends, at parties, festivals, cookouts, or anything that let her chat, talk and entertain. She liked planning parties as well. Kimmy also cared about her family deeply. She helped take care of her parents, and look after her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews whenever she can. Her family meant so much to her. She enjoyed painting and interior design. Kimmy also worked at the Irish Buffalo for 17 years as a barmaid.

Kimmy is survived by her siblings, Tammy (Roberto) Vasquez and Mike (Debbie) Roughton; parents, Mike and Sandra; nieces and nephews, Martin, Juan, Raquel (Juan), Chad, and Ashley (Josh); great-nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Juan, Dominic, Martin, Aliyah, Juaquin, Antonio, Javier, Tetes, Greyson and Silas; and grandfather, Domingo. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Elodia; and paternal grandmothers Norma and Betty; and paternal grandfather Paul.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
