Kim M. Fitch

Kim M. Fitch, age 59 of Maumee, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Kim was born to Anthony and Judy (Collins) Schiavone on November 8, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1979 graduate of Waite High School. Kim married David on April 30, 1988. She was a member of the former Good Shepherd Catholic Church and currently attended Epiphany-St Thomas. Kim was hard working and always willing to help others.  Whether from behind the bar as a listening ear or as a STNA in a care facility, she was gracious in sharing love and kindness with the people she took care of. Above all, her family meant the world to her, especially the love for her grandchildren. Kim enjoyed playing Keno with her three best friends; Lori, Chris and Karen. She loved travelling, especially Las Vegas. She enjoyed camping and spent many summers at Pirolli Park. Kim was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed watching and attending Indians, Browns and Cavs games.

Kim is survived by her loving husband David; sons John (Lori Holdren)Hardy and Chad (Stephanie Gilreath) Fitch; grandchildren Nick, Anthony, Alayna and Gianna; great-granddaughter Lailani; mother Judy Schiavone; brothers and sisters Tony (Jenny), Dean (Sally), Vince (Amy), Johanna and Tammy; special friend Hogger and many nieces and nephews. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Schiavone Sr.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel in Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 2 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Epiphany-St Thomas Catholic Church.
