Kenneth E. Sievert

Kenneth E. Sievert, age 85, of Curtice, Ohio passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.  Kenneth graduated from Genoa High School and retired from Libbey-Owens Ford after 42 years of service.  He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, gardening, lawn work and tending to his beloved roses and when in bloom he would give one every single day to his loving wife.  He and his wife were members of the Goldwingers Bike Club and loved traveling on their bikes all over the country with friends.  They also belonged to the Country Kickers Dance Group.

Kenneth is survived by the love of his life of 52 years, Patsy; children, Rex (Bruce) Sievert, Vicki (John) Lorenzen, Terry (Carrie) Sievert, Doug (Michele) Avery, Jay (Shawndel) Sievert, John (Michelle) Avery, James (Deanna) Avery, Julie (Robert) Jeannotte, and Jodi (Glenn) Maine, 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild; sister, Carol Bates, niece, Chris Adkinson; and nephews, Mike Claussen and Eric Claussen.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 2-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Williston where family will greet guests after 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Allen Twp. Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio
