Kenneth E. Hutchinson

Kenneth E. Hutchinson “Hutch”, 73, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on July 8, 2022 at St. Charles Hospital.  He was born on March 5, 1949 in Carmi, Illinois.  Ken worked various jobs including truck driver, construction work and most recently as a production worker for IMCO.  Ken had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, cars, and NASCAR racing.

Ken is survived by his children, Crystal Moya, Jody (Dave) Balogh, April Hutchinson (Freddie), Tonya LaCourse, Bobbie Jo (Jesse) Hutchinson, Serena Chow; honorary son, James Hazlett; grandchildren, Misty, Mylicia, Mylina, Delfino III, Sarah, Alex, Halley, Matthew, Ryan, Hope, Destiny, Jimmy, Madison, Maranda, Jesse II, James, and Rylee; (25) great-grandchildren; his siblings, Calvin (Marissa) Hutchinson, Harold Boyd, and Maggie (Thomas) Keefe, and his dog, Simba. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Harold “Sonny” Boyd; his longtime companion, Jerri McAtee; and siblings, Raymond Hutchinson,  Linda “Lesley” Hutchinson and John LeRoy Boyd and beloved pets Cookie, Buffy and Brady.

Per Ken’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.  Memorial contributions in Ken’s name can be made to his family to cover expenses and sent to Freck Funeral Chapel.
