Kenneth "Guzzy" Gozdowski

Kenneth “Guzzy” Gozdowski, 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center on Sunday, October 17, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Guzzy was born on November 14, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to Ollie and Loretta (Augustyniak) Gozdowski.  He attended St. Anthony’s Grade School and Macomber High School.  Guzzy served in the U.S. Army for two years.  He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office for over 25 years, retiring in 1991.  Guzzy enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas with family and friends.  He was an avid bowler, and a die-hard Ohio State fan always rooting for his Buckeyes.

Guzzy is survived by his sister, Letitia Daly; niece, Dawn Joseph; nephew, Nick (Carrie) Shufeldt.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Don (Gates) Gozdowski.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Freck Funeral Chapel where visitation will continue until 12:00 p.m.
