Kenneth Ernest Fry
Kenneth E. Fry, 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Bay Park Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 31, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Nelson and Mabel Fry. Ken was a graduate of Clay High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He attained commendations for Good Conduct, Marksman Rifle Badge, Sharpshooter Rifle Badge and Expert Rifle Badge. Ken worked in security for many years at Libbey Owens Ford and Wackenhut Security. He was a member of the American Legion in Genoa, OH.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara; children: Kimberly (James) Schwed, Cindy (Jennifer Taylor) Fry and Kenneth A. Fry; grandchildren: Michelle, James-Bryant, Wesley and Kristin; great-grandson, Jordan Jr. and his sisters, Margie Mason and Bonny Foogie. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jack Sr. and sister, Judy.
A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church 4560 Gilbert Rd. Luckey, OH. 43443 on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
