Kendra (Sissy) Wilber

Kendra "Sissy" Wilber age 60 of Oregon passed away Friday, December 30, 2023, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo, Center. Kendra was a person who had Down Syndrome and lived to be 60 years old, exceeding many expectations. In her 60 years, she left an impression on everyone who knew her. Everyone has a Sissy story (in most of them she was nice). Kendra had a large extended family in Kentucky, to which she traveled often throughout her lifetime. We know she is now free of any afflictions and she is rejoicing in Heaven with many loved ones. It was truly a privilege to have had her in our lives, she will be missed by many.

Kendra was preceded in death by father Kenneth, mother Barbara, and niece Nikita. She is survived by her siblings Barbara (Vince Manera) Hunter, Brian Wilber, and Brent (Fran) Wilber and many nieces and nephews who truly loved and cherished her.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Luther Home of Mercy- Emmaus Community Center 5802 Corduroy Rd. in Oregon.
