Kelly Wayne York

Kelly Wayne York, age 54 of Lake Township, passed away at Bay Park Community Hospital on Friday, August 21, 2020. Kelly was born to Walter and Pearl (Allen) York on August 11, 1966 in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from Lake High School and was a member of the UAW Local 12. Family was everything. He loved being a husband and father and he worked hard to provide for his family. Kelly was a great cook, loved camping, Tennessee football, Thomas Kinkade paintings and was a devoted fan of General Hospital. He was kind to everybody and even in sickness put everybody else first.

Kelly is survived by his wife Rachel, children Ashley, Taylor, Alexander, Makella, Spencer and Callen; granddaughters Braylynn and Gracelynn; brother Walter (Patricia) York Jr.; sisters Michelle Jones, Sandy and Lisa York; father and mother-in-law Marvin and Donna Sheely; and close friends Jeremy, Vernon and Tracy. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Randy, Kurt and Billy York and best friend Mike Hubble.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd Oregon, OH 43616 on Thursday, August 27th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be private for the family. A live stream will be available after 11:00 a.m. on Friday on the Freck Funeral Chapel Facebook Page. Burial will be held at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Center.
