Keith Gerald Tolles

Keith Gerald Tolles, 63, passed away at Gardens of St. Francis in Oregon, Ohio on July 8, 2024. He was born in Toledo, OH to Gerald Tolles and Carol (Cook) Moore on September 20, 1960. He would go on to graduate high school and raise 6 children.

Keith was the owner and operator of Keith & Company Trucking, which he oversaw for over 40 years. He was passionate about trucking and enjoyed hauling large loads. When not working he enjoyed watching movies, traveling, working with Legos, and was known as a big reader. He was a fan of both Star Wars and Star Trek and enjoyed watching baseball and supporting the Detroit Tigers. Keith would include his family and friends while looking for the best waterfalls on his travels. He was a very helpful person, willing to do whatever he could to help someone out and was an “amateur engineer” who could build anything for someone in need.

Keith is survived by his children; Josephine (Jason) Mahr, Dustin (Theresa) Tolles, Jennifer ( Robert Lillie) Tolles, Kelly (Eric) Lewandowski, Christian Tolles, and Lucas Tolles; grandchildren, Kyle, Cash, Emily, Annabelle, Seger, Arthur, Shane, Lucas, Elaina, and Camden; mother , Carol Moore; brothers, Jeffery (Diane) Tolles and Bradley (Kelly) Tolles; and sisters Lori Tolles and Julie (Mike) Smith. He is also survived by numerus nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, Keith was preceded in death by his stepfather Thomas Moore.

The family would like to thank the staff at Garden of St. Francis and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the care they provided for Keith. Keith wished to spend eternity among the Appalachian Mountains, so his family will spread his ashes at a later date, per his wishes there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH.
