Julia E. Ferencz

Julia E. Ferencz, 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.  She was born on September 16, 1940 in Budapest Hungary to Stephen and Anna Leszkai.  Julia came to the United States when she was 16 years old.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, and sister.  Family meant the world to her.  She was known to keep an immaculate house and for her wonderful Hungarian food.  She will be dearly missed.

Julia is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Ferencz; children, Eva Ferencz and Robert (Melisa) Ferencz; son-in-law, Joe Moore; grandchildren, Sydney (Ian), Sierra (Freddie), Hailey, Aaron, and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Monica, Katie, Calli, Chloe and Aria and baby Clark due in April; great great-grandchildren, Mahdi, Alie, Musa, and Karina; sister, Sue (Dave) Miller, and brother, Thomas (Rita) Leszkai.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Suzanne Moore; and granddaughters, Michelle Halasz and Maggie Fox-Clark.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Friday where family will greet guests after 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
