Judith A. Bishop, 64, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on June 23, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to James W. and Aleta H. Bishop. Judy was a 1965 graduate of Lake High School and served in the U.S. Army. She was a member of the American Legion Post #711. Judy retired in July from the C.S.P. formerly the Budd Co. in North Baltimore where she worked as a Press Operator for the past 32 years.
Judith is survived by her loving sister, Gayle (Warren) Moritz of Martin, OH.; nephew, Scott (Luba) Moritz of Hemlock, MI.; niece, Shari (Dan) Bullock of Oregon, OH; great-niece and nephew, Erica and Kasey Moritz and extended family, Kathleen (John) Johnson and family and Eugene “Jeff” Keller and family, along with numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. Bishop and Aleta H. Keller, step father, Ambrose "Bud" Keller and brother, James R. Bishop.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 2 - 4 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
