Joyce Ann (Haskins) Pryke

Joyce Ann Pryke, 73, died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 4, 1944 in Toledo to the late John “Jack” and Geraldine (Miller) Haskins. Joyce was a 1962 graduate of Clay High School and in 1963 married Jerry, her high school sweetheart with whom she just celebrated 55 years of marriage in March. She worked many years with the elderly and handicap children at Lutheran Home Mercy in Williston and NODC in Toledo. Joyce was involved with many events at Jerusalem Elementary School while her children attended there. She was also a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. Joyce loved having cook-outs and dinners with family and friends, camping and traveling. The most joy in her life was her husband, children, grandkids and great grandkids.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband Jerry; children Jerry Pryke Jr., John (Holly) Pryke and Sheri (Mark Powers) Wheeler; grandchildren Billy Newman, Khalan (Macy) Wheeler, Simon (Samantha) Wheeler, Andrew Pryke and Megan Pryke; great grandchildren Adrienne, Lincoln and Murdock Wheeler; step-sister Diane (Chuck) Ramm, brother-in-law Joe Pryke; several nieces and nephews including Tom Shaner and special cousin JoAnn (Bob) Vernon. Joyce was loved by all her family and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two sisters Jackie (Bill) Anderson and Donna Jean Shaner; nephew Mike Anderson and sister-in-law Jean Floriana.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 3 - 7 p.m. Family will observe private burial.
