Joyce M. Laurell

Joyce Marie Laurell, 76, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, August 23, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Manor at Perrysburg. Joyce worked for over 20 years at Maumee Bay State Park as an accountant. Joyce loved spending time with her family the most. Her favorite pastimes were reading, cooking, and watching cooking shows.

Joyce is survived by her son, Thomas (Terri) Laurell; grandchildren, Britney (Levi) Prowant, Thomas “LT” Laurell, Joey (Hanna) Chessher; great-grandchildren, Remington, LJ, Ryder, Tucker, and Presley. Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve Cousino, Roy Brecht, and Gerald Cousino; her husband, Arnold Laurell; her mother, Mary Tom Brecht (Jaco); and her father, Steven Cousino. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio and the Manor at Perrysburg for their great care and kindness.

Private services were held and Joyce was laid to rest at North Oregon Cemetery, Oregon, OH. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
